Ari's hair is a little pink in the first page, and there is a bit of a blooper in there as well. I apologize for dialog confusion in the third page - I meant for Juli to be a talker, but I should have planned my spaces better.
I hope someone out there is enjoying this!

Okay, major apologies on my part if there is actually anyone out there in readerland. Thankfully, I don't think that there is, so a few early stumbles can be forgiven. I live in the backwoods of Vermont and my internet connection is not just primitive, it's unreliable. It's faster than dialup, but it's this crazy system of radio signals bounced off antennae on the tops of trees on the tops of mountains, or something. So, too much snow, or other "tree issues" and the signal goes down. It's been really bad the past two weeks, which has meant that I can't upload anything except when I'm at work, which isn't exactly professional.
My plan to make up for this is to post all the prologue pages on monday (a three page update) and go from there. My landlord claims the problem with the internet should be fixed by today, so I'm trying to be optimistic about my chances of doing so. Worse comes worst, I will give in and do it at work on monday.
